Middlesbrough will look to get back on track when they host Norwich in the Championship this Saturday. They currently sit fourth but have lost three straight matches, which may prove crucial to getting their season underway again.

Norwich City are currently eighth in the league table and in contention for a play-off place, making this matchup pivotal to both clubs' futures.

Live stream

If you can't make it out to Riverside Stadium on Friday for Matchday 42 of EFL Championship play between Middlesbrough and Norwich, don't fret; Sky will broadcast it live starting from 7pm! Coverage begins.

Boro remain well placed to secure a top six finish and enter the play-offs, despite recent form being less than stellar. They haven't won in three matches however and had automatic promotion hopes derailed by their draw with Bristol City on Easter Monday (2-2).

Norwich are also looking to secure a playoff berth, although their recent form has seen them win only one out of their last six matches and remain outside the top-six by one point. When they face Boro on Wednesday evening they'll hope to change this trend and end their drop into ninth position.

Pre-match build-up

Middlesbrough are looking to end a three-game winless run in the Championship when they host Norwich City this evening at Riverside. After starting strong this year, Middlesbrough have recently faded in performance and need a victory to remain competitive for playoff contention.

Boro sit fourth in the table, six points clear of Millwall and Blackburn Rovers while just a point off Norwich in eighth position. A win against Norwich could vault them up into fifth and secure them a place in the play-offs.

The Canaries have had an inconsistent season but remain hopeful of making it to the play-offs; their last league fixture was a goalless draw against Rotherham United with plenty of chances but couldn't break through to secure all three points.
