AnimSchool Fantasy Character WIP Scott McFadden

W.I.P 1 - Just a bit of sketch over and planning before i start. This helps me understand the more complex shapes from the easier ones. Its just a break down for myself and to figure out my time management and which areas will take longer etc.

W.I.P 2 - I am not character artist but, have been trying to learn more and get better during lockdown. I learned in one of Shane Olson's videos about doing the polygroups for building characters anatomy. I really love this method and this has helped me hugely in the early phases of blocking out for my characters. Still many tweaks to make and work on head scale 🙂

W.I.P 3 - Hav'nt been able to work on him as much as i hoped. But, hopefully after the 20th i can spend a whole week fleshing out more. Arms and legs are still separate so can adjust to get more of that V look for the upper torso before adding armor. And extra feedback appreciated 🙂
